Dr. Contact Lens, Fort Lauderdale, FL –May 24th, 2022 – Dr. Contact Lens, the first contact lens service company that streamlines the contact lens ordering process for both patients and private practice owners via its powerful website, announced today the addition of five new hires to its rapidly expanding team: Julius Diggins, Judy Mondol, Traci Serio, Jeane Shauger and Tonya Stewart.

Julius Diggins carries 8 years of experience working as a CNA in orthopedics, ICU, at the Cleveland Clinic South Hospital in Martin County, Florida. Prior to joining Dr. Contact Lens, he acted as a radiology assistant during the latter 4 years of his medical career. He is excited to bring his talents to the Dr. Contact Lens team as a Customer Support Specialist responsible for supporting and onboarding new and existing clientele.

Judy Mondol formerly worked as an Assistant Manager and OD Receptionist for Luxottica Lenscrafters. She hopes to provide high-quality customer care and training at Dr. Contact Lens as a Customer Support Specialist.

“I admire how the cofounders Brianna & Jennifer have developed DCL over the years to not only assist doctors but also patients,” Mondol said. “The passion and dedication that they display keeps me engaged and interested to see the growth and success this company strives towards.”

Traci Serio worked for 13 years as an Inside Sales Coordinator at Costa Sunglasses and was positioned in Customer Care for her final 3 years. She anticipates bringing over her skills to Dr. Contact Lens as its Customer Success Manager.

“I am so happy to be part of the growth of something so brilliant and innovative,” said Serio. “The founders' enthusiasm is infectious and who wouldn't want to be a part of something like this? I want to be able to say in five years that I was here in the beginning stages of Customer Success and helped make it great!”

Jeane Shauger previously utilized her sales talents at Hoya Vision Care, covering the Pacific Northwest in outside sales. She now eagerly joins Dr. Contact Lens as its Account Executive and is excited to help our independent eye doctors continue to thrive in the industry with our online platform.

“I’m excited to empower eye doctors with a brilliant platform that will allow us to get ahead of the curve in our industry,” Shauger said.

Tonya Stewart has been in the optical industry for more than 5 years and most recently worked with Regener-Eyes as a Strategic Account Manager. She is excited to join the Dr. Contact Lens team as its new Sales and Marketing Executive.

“I'm thrilled to be working with such an innovative company such as DCL, the first to create this innovative ordering process and business intelligence platform,” Stewart said. “Exciting times ahead with Dr. Rhue and Dr. Tabiza leading the team!”
