How do I cancel or edit an order?
Step 1: Contact your distributor as soon as possible before the order gets processed. You have ~30 minutes before the order is processed and it can't be reversed.
Step 2: Let Dr. Contact Lens support know of any changes made to the order or if the order was cancelled by emailing support@drcontactlens.com or by calling support at (888) 205-1679. This is important so any changes made can be reconciled with your Dr. Contact Lens account.
If the order has already been processed this will now become a return.
How do I return unopened boxes of lenses?
Have the patient return the unopened boxes to your practice and you will handle the returns as you normally do by shipping unopened boxes back to your distributor for account credit. Make sure the returns have your distributor account number so credit is received. Returns protocols are the same for how you would normally do a return with your distributor.
How do I find out the status of an order (back order, tracking number, advanced tracking request, dispute lost package)?
Contact your distributor. They will ask for the account number and patient name and they can give you an update on the status of the order.
How do I add insurance to an order that’s already been placed by the patient?
Email support@drcontactlens.com with the amount that needs to be added to the order. We will refund the patient’s credit card. The refund will be posted to the patients form of payment in 1 to 3 business days.
